About Jessica

Jessica began as a hobbyist in her teenage years when she took pictures for her high school newspaper and was on the yearbook staff as a photographer. She started specializing in newborn and baby photography once her own children were born and she realized just how fast babies grow and change, and just how important it is to document every growth stage.

Since 2014, Jessica has been photographing newborns, baby milestones, and 1st birthday cake smashes in San Diego, California and Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has grown her business from a part time job with a small home-based studio, to a full-time career with a professional portrait studio location and thousands of happy clients. Jessica is continually honing her craft by taking focused online and in-person training courses, as well as offering hands-on teaching opportunities to other photographers wanting to learn safe and beautiful newborn photography techniques, Jessica has won awards for both newborn and cake smash portraits, and her work has been featured in dozens of publications such as Bump, Baby & Beyond Magazine, Lensational Model & Photographer Magazine, American Baby Magazine, Parents Magazine, San Diego Family Magazine, Rangefinder Magazine, and SD Voyager.
